Mike Reilly

Mike Reilly is a Senior Data Scientist and Technical Manager at Terner Labs. He has expertise in spatial data science, land use planning, and urban economic modeling, and brings policy analysis experience in the governmental, academic, and consulting sectors. Prior to joining the Terner team, Mike advised clients on a range of urban economic and policy questions at ECOnorthwest. Before that, he led the team developing and applying socioeconomic analysis and modeling tools at the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, where he supported three integrated regional plans aimed at lowering greenhouse gas emissions and increasing housing affordability. Mike holds a PhD in City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley and conducted research on land use modeling and urban sustainability at Stanford’s Doerr School and Columbia’s Earth Institute. He also has an MCP and a BA from UC Berkeley.
