Mariah Hoots

Mariah Hoots is a Graduate Student Fellow at the Housing Venture Lab, where she supports ventures addressing housing and equity challenges through innovative real estate models. She is currently pursuing her MBA at UC Berkeley, with a focus on real estate. Previously, Mariah worked at Deer Park Road Management, a hedge fund specializing in distressed residential and commercial mortgages, where she developed expertise in structured credit valuation. She is passionate about advancing sustainable, affordable, and equitable housing solutions amidst the complexities of today’s market. Mariah holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder, with concentrations in Finance and Accounting.
