Calvin Jordan
Graduate Student Fellow
Calvin Jordan (he/him) is a Master of Public Policy student at the University of California, Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy, where he focuses on public policy related to land use, housing, transportation, public safety, and criminal justice.
In addition to his work with Terner, Calvin is a Graduate Student Intern with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission where he supports grant administration and policy evaluations of the agency’s investments in housing and local planning programs throughout the Bay Area. He also serves as a student in Berkeley Law’s Policy Advocacy Clinic, where he represents clients addressing systemic racial and economic injustice in the U.S. legal system.
Prior to attending GSPP, Calvin spent nearly a decade as a media & communications professional working mostly in nonprofit research and advocacy, including at Fair and Just Prosecution (a criminal justice reform advocacy organization) and Pew Research Center (a nonpartisan public opinion think tank).
