Ben White

Ben White is the Director of the Builders Lab, the Terner Labs program designed to support construction innovations that facilitate timely and cost-effective delivery of affordable housing. A lifelong urbanist, Ben’s career has spanned the public and private sectors and includes roles at Blackstone’s ShopCore Properties, where he was chief of staff; WeWork, where he managed operations for the global real estate team; New York City Economic Development Corporation, where he project managed affordable housing and other urban development projects; and J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he supported the firm’s relationships with institutional investors. Ben holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, an MSc from the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, and a BA from Yale University.
