Each year, Terner Labs selects a small cohort of innovators from across the United States to participate in the six-month Housing Venture Lab. The 2023 cohort was made up of visionary leaders implementing transformative ideas to make housing more affordable, accessible, safe, and equitable.
“This year’s cohort was a really special blend: they’re innovating on issues that have been bottlenecks in improving access to housing, and doing it in a way that’s bold, creative, and ultimately life-changing,” says Housing Venture Lab Director Kara Murray-Badal. “It’s become a beautifully dynamic team of grassroots organizations, businesses, and non-profits who can draw from each others’ expertise and knowledge.”
The five cohort members - Revalue.io, Kit Switch, Housing Connector, CredEvolv, and A New Way of Life - represent what Kara calls “a holistic picture of the potential future of the housing industry.”
